Team Killer - Please ban

Hi,

There may be an existing thread for this but my French is terrible and I couldn't see it. Sorry.

I have been playing the BC2 Heavy Metal server quite a lot recently and there are frequently team killers in the game.
So tonight I took screenshots:

It would be great if an admin could ban these two.

Also there was DragonMagic who was repeatedly and consistently abusive:

I took this when he first joined.. it only got worse.

It's a shame the !forgive and !punish commands don't work... whatever the circumstances, the server responds with something like "You can not use !forgive unless for teamkilling or baseraping." and nothing happens.
!votekick is the same.

Good server though. Some good regulars who are fun to play with.

Hi guys.

I'm sorry that I keep posting, but hackers and team killers are a big problem. They keep coming back to the server and there is nothing we can do about it.

I am not sure of the command structure of M3GT... I PMed Cpt Haggis on Thursday but have not had a reply so thought I'd post this here:

I am playing on your server quite a lot and would be willing to take on admin responsibilities - Do you accept admin applications?
I have experience as an admin on another BC2 server owned by flame-guards.com
I always give the benefit of the doubt. As a good player myself I have often been called a hacker and I know that just because someone is really good, does not mean they are a hacker.

Equally when it comes to team killing, only if it is totally clear that a player is repeatedly deliberately team killing, would I act.

Of course I would always act within the rules set by M3GT.

Also, does M3GT have a Mumble or Teamspeak server?

I've just come back on the server after a break from BC2 (I've been playing Hitman Absolution) and found your server is still full of team killers and hackers.

Can I apply for kick privileges please?

Do you guys care about your server being a safe haven for idiots?

Hi there,


No we do not accept server admin applications, and we do not grant admin's rigths.
We often check our servers even while not playing on them, may you also notice our servers are streamed to pbbans, and we check the PB screenshots, so yeah, we do care about our servers beeing a "safe" and fun place for regular players
We'll soon update the BC2 servers with a votekick option.

An admin coming on for 2 minutes every month or so is absolutely useless.
Would it not make sense to have an admin that actually plays on the server regularly?

In the mean time, please ban the worst repeat teamkillers:

After 3 teamkills the player is autokicked, but they just rejoin instantly and continue.

It's ok. A new server has been set up with the same settings but with admins that are actually in the game regularly and actually do something.

Look, I totally appreciate that I am not entitled to anything. I do not pay for the server. However, as Cpt.Haggis said, you care about it "beeing a "safe" and fun place for regular players"... I assumed you'd want to do something about all these people that do nothing except stay in the uncap base and teamkill. That is why I came here and told you about them.

Anyway. As I said, I have found another server.

good I agree but should you pay a month's server is 70 euros or so when you see you just hack on teamspeak tell us and then we will ban cheaters
